Many people just find jobs because they need income, which is understandable, but really think about what you’re getting yourself into when you do that. Whatever job you do, you will be developing a particular set of skills that you will (hopefully and eventually) master, and it will become the base for you to find future jobs.

This is an obvious concept but I don’t think many people realize how extremely difficult it is to change industries. For instance, I am interested in tourism, hospitality and travel. I have minimal experience in those industries, but loads of experience in administrative support, customer service and accounting. I could get a job in those fields easily. But what happens after I get on the top of that slippery slope?

How do you get experience in a field where no one will hire you without experience? I’m not an expert on this, but…
