For every one job posting, there can be over 100 candidates. I know this number can seem overwhelming, but do not panic! Here are simple steps you can take to improve your odds of making the initial cut.
1) Tweak your resume to match the position. The days of sending the same resume for every opening are over. You don’t need to overhaul the whole thing, but matching your qualifications to the job listing can mean the difference between getting selected or being overlooked.
